The 4 Best Ways to Enjoy and Love Your Life

Do you ever feel like you’re just going through the motions? Like you’re not really living your life the way you want to?

If that sounds like you, then it’s time to start loving your life! It may seem like a cliché, but it’s true – the best way to improve your life is to love it exactly as it is. Here are the 4 best ways to love your life.

Get focused and clear on what you want

A motivated life is one in which you wake up every day, seven days a week, to people, places, relationships, and work that you adore. It’s a life that matches your highest aspirations and goals—a life lived intentionally with design and purpose.

The best phrase I’ve ever heard to describe a passionate person is someone who wakes up every day to a life they have created—someone who is reaping the benefits of a life they planned.

The greatest mistake you can make is to let your passion for a certain thing or person dictate how you live your life. If this isn’t the case, there’s no way around it: you’ll be miserable! In order to become one of those people who love their lives, you must first figure out what you want and go after it. Because the only way to realize your ideal lifestyle is by being clear about your goals!

So sit down, take out a pen and some paper, and make a list of everything you desire for yourself.

GET CLEAR ON WHAT YOU WANT.

You may find that you want relationships, career changes, and lifestyles that you hadn’t considered previously as you make notes about your objectives, intentions, deepest aspirations, and fantasies.

You could discover that what you truly desire is to serve your community as the creator of a nonprofit. Alternatively, you might discover that you want to visit every single continent and country in the world, meeting as many individuals as possible.

That is why being explicit about your goals is so crucial. You might learn things about yourself that you don’t currently comprehend.

Writing down your wild, crazy, and ambitious life goals may provide you with a route leading to a life full of passion you enjoy.

Take actions toward creating the life you love

Now that you know exactly what you want, it’s time to ACT—not just for a day, week, month, or year. To bring about the wonderful life you desire, you must take action daily until the end of your days to make your goals a reality.

That may sound harsh. But that intensity is required. To believe the bright, passionate vision of pleasure in your head, you must ATTACK your ambitions and goals with unyielding tenacity every day.

I’m not suggesting that you have to work for 7 days of the week, 8 hours per day, in order to realize your ideal life. I’m trying to say that EVERY DAY, YOU MUST TAKE STEPS to BUILDING THAT AMAZING FUTURE.

If you want to be a full-time blogger, you must perform certain blog-related tasks on a regular basis. If you want to be a full-time chef, you must master your recipes every night. Every day if you wish to play professional baseball, you must practice or remain in the gym.

You must study for your GMAT every day if you want to enroll in business school. If you want to be a part of an excellent relationship with your spouse, you’d better spend time with her or his single on a daily or nightly basis.

You must take action every day, no matter how big or little the steps are. Every day, you build momentum and progress that will propel you toward that fantastic existence in which you can’t wait to wake up.

NEVER GIVE UP on the things you are passionate about

So, let’s assume you read step #1 above and wrote down everything you could possibly imagine. Assume you had this huge revelation and decided to pursue something different from your current full-time employment.

Congratulations! The first step in loving your life is to take a step. There’s only one small problem, though: you have bills to pay, a spouse to support, children to feed, and other commitments that must be met.

So you can’t just up and quit your 9-to-5 job out of the blue. Because you have to care for other people. If you find yourself in this scenario, all I can suggest is that you don’t give up.

This is YOUR life. And you have the right to wake up to a fantastic existence full of passion, magic, and wonder every day, just like anybody else. You still have that ability.

Because you have bills to pay, a family to feed, and responsibilities to fulfill, your road will be more difficult than that of someone who has just graduated from high school or college. However, that isn’t a bad thing! Through struggle, you may build a great deal of character.

Because you have this career, you must work on your passion after-hours. As Gary Vaynerchuk passionately states in my video Love Your Life, you must put effort into your craft when you get home from work.

You must take advantage of your weeknights and weekends to make progress on building the life you love in order to get yourself to that promised land of passion, joy, and excitement.

SHOW GRATITUDE for your life – including the negatives

Last, but not least, in order to live a life full of passion every day, you must be able to recognize and appreciate the good and bad.

You must be able to express thanks and appreciation for the good, the bad, the beautiful, the ugly, the magnificent triumphs, and unfortunate losses. You must also be able to show gratitude.

Because the fact is, no matter how great your life is, adversity will constantly challenge you through misfortunes, difficulties, and setbacks. No matter how happy, fulfilled, joyful, or passionate you are in life, it will never be pain-free.

So in order to genuinely appreciate your life, you must be able to acknowledge great triumphs and calamities that come your way.

When you’re ready to take the plunge, remember that your journey will include spectacular triumphs and devastating disappointments. So, in addition to being grateful for all things, you must be grateful for everything.

You may also start a gratitude diary by journaling your feelings of appreciation. Every day, take 10 or 15 minutes out of your schedule to write down five things that happened during the day or five events in your life for which you are grateful at present. Every day, YOU WILL BE HAPPY! You’ll still adore YOUR LIFE when everything appears to be going wrong.
